Well it is laundry day. Michael is off to the Commercial Mexicana with Don and Judy (Tayana 48) who are anchored with us off the Las Hadas Hotel and Resort in Manzanillo. We have been here since last Friday, January 13. Had a very pleasant motor sail from Tenacatita. The Bahia de Manzanillo anchorage is behind the breakwater to the Las Hadas Marina. We have averaged six to seven boats in the anchorage - half sail, half motor yacht. Speaking of magnificent motor yachts we had the good fortune to share a very pleasant morning aboard Morning Star, a 70' restored Stephens. It is a small world in that two of the owner/partners are from Marina Village, Alameda. Anchoring off Las Hadas is quite a treat. The Las Hadas Hotel is where the movie 10 was filmed. (No, Michael has not spotted anyone who even closely resembles Bo Derek) Of course, the area has been extensive developed beyond the small Las Hadas Hotel that was featured in the film. But the Mediterranean architecture has been adopted by the new hotels and as soon we dropped anchor we were transported from Mexico the Mediterranean. The sugar white spires, domes
