Isla Grande, Caleta de Campos and Muruata

We departed Z-Town yesterday afternoon and spent a restful night in Isla Grande before departing early this morning. We plan to anchor at Caleta de Campos tonight and stop at Muruata tomorrow night. Doing these two stops means no overnight to Manzanillo. This I like a lot. Plan is to be in Manzanillo this weekend to enjoy the pool and beach at Las Hadas.

Getting a little push from the wind going north. Seas flat. SOG 7.6 knots motor/sailing. 85 degrees and sunny; it doesn't get much better than this. Visits by small dolphins this morning, but they were more interested in breakfast hunting than playing around Night Flight. Also spotted two large turtles just floating and basking in the sun.

Time to get out the left over roasted pollo from yesterday's lunch - Mexican roasted chicken is plump and delicious compared to the skinny chickens we get in the states. Plenty of leftovers to make chicken salad.

Spent a restful evening in Caleta de Campos. The town of 2,200 residents is scattered around the Bufadero Bluff. We anchored behind the breakwater with two other sailboats. Lots of fishing pangas and palapas on the
