Manzanillo
Still in Las Hadas planning to enjoy an ad hoc raft up in the harbor this afternoon. We are relaxing and enjoying the pool and niceties of Las Hadas along with our friends on Hokulani. Last night they introduced us to a new restaurant that over looks the bay. 7:00PM - The raft up was nice and got some new books to read in the book exchange. Food was plentiful and delicious as always. The raft up was in the marina basin centered on a float that was claimed by a big powerboat as the raft up had pretty much run its course. No problemo. We've been using the electric motor for the trips in and out of the marina to good effect. This time, however, we nearly exhausted one of the batteries on the trip out and just made it back. Michael almost had to row (the horror of it all!). Gave Mark and Karen on Topaz a call on the cell phone since we have not been able to reach them on the radio. They are in Barra Navidad which is our next stop; we'll see |
