After another wonderful time in Mazatlan we departed at 6:45AM with KingŐs Quest to cross the Sea of Cortez to start our exploration there. Seas were calm with very little wind. Four other boats departed with us. Very few boats seem to be crossing back to Mazatlan; did see the Baja Ferry from La Paz.

Beautiful day as we entered the San Lorenzo Channel heading for La Paz. Entered Marina CostaBaja at 6:45PM and were greeted at the fuel dock by Gabriel.

Completed our check in at the marina office. Knowledgeable staff and the surroundings are gorgeous. Brand new development with shops, restaurants and Fiesta Inn Hotel with an infinity pool that we are welcome to use. Topaz is at Marina Palmira; they taxied over and we took the free shuttle downtown. Had dinner at La Fonda on their patio; quaint restaurant with prix fixed meal for 50 pesos. Dinner included soup, entrŽe with salad and rice, and Jello for dessert. Needed a walk after dinner so we headed to the CCC grocery, and then taxied back to the marina. No free shuttle after 6:30PM.
