Governor's Harbour-First Capital of the Bahamas, February 12, 2007
We are in the Century-old Hayes Library, a beautiful two story colonial pink building that was restored in 2001. It is a very popular place with artists painting individual works on the porch, a computer section of a dozen Dell computers on the second floor of the library, and a nice selection of library books. I truly feel like I am in paradise as I look out the window at the emerald green harbor. Where else in the world can you have a view like this while using the Wi-Fi for $5 an hour.
We will be stopping by the bakery for fresh baked rolls and bread and then off to hoist anchor and move 20 miles south to a more protected anchorage for the predicted SW winds over the net few days.
