Yummy, yummy pepperoni pizza and bread sticks for dinner!

March 10, 2007 Marina at Emerald Bay to Black Point
Finally the weather cooperated and we motored through the still bumpy marina entry and headed north. The wind was fair and we flew the staysail from Emerald Bay to Black Point, a very lovely six hour trip. Nina, another Hylas 46, came into Black Point just ahead of us. Diana, Jim and I took the dinghy in to explore. We, of course, had to stop for a cold beer at LoraineÕs and pick up some homemade bread. Ted and Linda on Nina joined us for cocktails Ð the guys talked engines and repairs while Linda, Diana and I discussed various anchorages.

Diana and Jim took the dinghy into the settlement so Diana could interview the straw ladies and Loraine. We hoisted anchor around one and motored to Big Majors. Michael dropped off Diana and Jim at the Òpig beachÓ and then took Boris over to second beach for a run. Jim snorkeled around the area, but didnÕt find many fish.
