Getting Ready for the Bahama Passage
The weather is looking good for a crossing to the Bahamas on Friday so we are getting ready. Unfortunately Michael is fighting a very bad cold and we are fortunate to have Kevin and Darlene with a car. He ended going to the clinic and getting three medications; the good news his lungs were clear so no problem there. Now the medicine needs to start working fast.
Michael is feeling somewhat better, but now our main boat computer decided to die. We rented a car and made the rounds to find the best deal on a new one. We were fortunate in that our friend Lynn, just purchased two new computers so Michael spent time with him on the phone getting the best recommendations. Went over to DuffyÕs tonight so we could download software and enjoy a light dinner.
Work continues on getting the boat ready. Michael borrowed jerry jugs to go pick up 25 gallons of diesel. Made one final run to DuffyÕs to get our mail and the latest weather. We should be off tomorrow morning.
