May 12 Whale Cut to Manjack Cay
Michael shuttled fuel from the Marsh Harbour Boat Yard to Night Flight. We moved the mother ship to just outside the entry so the trip would be shorter. After fueling we headed north. Whale Cut was rolly, but not too bad Ð no breaking waves. There was one other boat coming toward us; I think that we will be the last boat for the day as the winds continue to build. We sailed on to Manjack Cay, one of our favorite spots.

Boris gets his romp on the beach and a little swimming. The owners of the cay are off to the US for awhile, but we met their caretakers. There was a huge ray just hanging around the beach and we were told that if you bring food you can feed him. Michael sewed the jib UV protector.

Michael greased the mechanical parts for the jib furler. We hoisted the sail once again and started the furling process. It worked!!!! Generally getting the boat ready for the ocean crossing.

Lovely beach party with the caretakers and the anchored boat sailors. The kids from the various boats were kept busy
