February 19
A sunny, cold and howling windy day at the dock. It is a good day to do laundry while Michael has replaced all of the engine belts, cleaned water filters and is replacing screws that have disintegrated over the years on the salt water pump. The salt water impeller had 1/3 of its vanes damaged at its Yanmar-recommended replacement interval so weÕll try a 500 hour replacement interval in the future. We walked downtown around 7:00PM and found a wonderful Japanese restaurant, Sushi Hiro on King Street. We have been spoiled by the incredible Japanese food in the Bay Area, but this matched any of the restaurants in CA. Our next stop was to be MistralÕs on South Market for Jazz. Unfortunately since this is the off season in Charleston they only have Jazz on Friday and Saturday until the end of March.

We have moved out to the anchorage again and are getting ready for tomorrowÕs departure to Fernandina Beach, FL.

February 21 and 22 South Carolina to Florida
Pulled anchor at Charleston at 8:01AM and picked up the mooring ball here in Fernandina, FL at 8:30AM this morning. The seas were flat all during the day
