Lake Worth to Peck Lake
The wind has finally calmed down and we headed north to the Peck Lake anchorage. The seven bridges that need to be opened for us all worked in tandem so we had little or no wait along the way. We motored with four other boats so that helped to facilitate the bridge openings. We made good time to the Peck Lake anchorage and pulled in just south of the green day marker. Unfortunately it was a little too south. There is a sand bar that runs between the ICW and the anchorage and I put Night Flight hard aground. For about 45 minutes Michael tried to get her off and I finally called Tow Boat US. ThatÕs why you pay for unlimited towing Š right? The Tow boat arrived twenty minutes later and pulled us off. We provided the early afternoon entertainment for the anchorage. Took Boris to the beach for a little romp and paddling in the water.

April 9
Arrived at the Vero Beach Municipal Marina mid-afternoon. Fueled up and then rafted with our San Francisco Bay friends on Torla-O. The anchorage is filled with rafts of three boats on some mooring balls.
