May 4 Vero Beach to Dragon Point
Anchored in one of our favorite anchorages off the ICW. Even had another boat join us for the first time. The fish traps have returned. And Annie, the dragon, still has not been rebuilt.
May 5 Dragon Point to Titusville
We chatted with Mover, a San Francisco sailing yacht, as he passed us on the way. We anchored off of Titusville and took Boris for his evening walk. The wind was between 16 and 22 knots most of the day including during our ride back in the dinghy making it a little wet of a journey.
May 6 Titusville to Aquarmarina, Daytona
Decided to try the marina next to Halifax this time. Unfortunately we are in Spring Tides, which means really low tide. We entered the channel to the marina, went about two hundred feet and then started pushing through the mud. Approaching the dock we ground to a halt, but Rich, our dock hand was able to help muscle us forward with the help of Night FlightÕs engine. It was time to celebrate so we walked over the Aquamarine Restaurant for happy hour and great baskets of calamari and chicken. The restaurant has a nice |
