| Saturday Ð it must be Notre Dame Football! Hoist the ND flag up the halyard then walk to the bus stop. Took the Sabalo Centro bus to the beach hotel area to find the Saloon. Directions: Go down the alley next to the Dairy Queen to find the sports bar. Our neighbor, Mike, on Donna Rose recommended the place. Found Mike at the bar who had already alerted the bartender that we were coming. The channel was switched and we were set for the rest of the afternoon. Ice cold beers and one of the best Rueben's I have ever had. Following the ND victory we explored stopping in a great bakery (rolls for breakfast and a couple of desserts); walked down the beach area; saw the Mega store sign and walked over a few more blocks to the mall. Picked up a few groceries; stopped for an ice cream; and then headed back to Marina Mazatlan on the Cerritos Juarez bus. A very busy and fun day. |
